From the Teachers: March 21-25 This week we have learned all about Easter!   We talked about why Easter is such an important celebration as a Christian because it is the culmination of God’s plan of salvation for us – His Son Jesus who died for us!  We made water resist crosses with water colors, to remind us that Jesus died on the cross on Good Friday.  We colored Easter eggs after learning the Easter story as told with Easter eggs and small items inside each egg.  This also gave us an opportunity to learn about the color wheel and mixing colors. We made palm frond art using our hands to help us recall how Jesus was greeted as he entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.  We made Resurrection Rolls on Friday to help us learn and remember the story of Jesus' death and resurrection on Easter Sunday!  We have also learned about the letter Ww.  Ask your child about the new words that start with W and we have written, signed and sounded out the letter Ww.   You are invited to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Easter Celebration! They stood at a distance 13 and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!” 14 When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed. 15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him. Untie it and bring it here. 3 If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.’” 4 They went and found a colt outside in the street, tied at a doorway. Three days later he Rose again! Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for saving me from my sins! HAPPY EASTER!!!
